This pendant was meticulously drilled and cut by hand from an actual half-penny coin from Great Britain. It features the famous English galleon, The Golden Hind.
The Golden Hind, captained by Sir Francis Drake, was the second ship to ever complete a circumnavigation of the globe. It was the flagship of a five ship expedition, which was completed between 1577 and 1580.
This coin is 25.5 mm and is copper in color. It comes on a strong and hypoallergenic 20" stainless steel chain. Other chain or cord options are possible upon request.
