This pendant was meticulously drilled and cut by hand from an actual Greek 20 Drachmai coin. It features the Goddess Athena.
Athena is the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, war and handicraft. She was a favorite daughter of Zeus, and the patron and protector of many cities across Greece including Athens. She is one of the most beloved and revered goddesses of ancient Greece.
This coin was minted only in 1973. It is 29 mm and is silver in color. It comes on a strong and hypoallergenic 20" stainless steel chain. Other chain or cord options are possible upon request.
